Brief Description: Centre console - final prep for upholsterer.
Removed the quadrant throttle and changed the knob tension adjuster with an extension tube and nylock nut. Cut an access hole through the side of the console to take a socket to turn the nut and adjust the tension. Removed clecoes and riveted the top extension on. Changed the cup head screws with counersunk screws so the cover plate can sit flush. Filled and sanded smooth the extra holes now that the design is set. Console is now ready for upholstering. Removed all the expanding foam from the glare shield - the foam doesn't rebound after pressurfe so no good under the leather. Will use ordinary foam this time!
