Brief Description:  Making a glare shield extension for the dash.

Started will sanding and refilling the gear leg fairings and pants - and snading and refilling the air intake ducts in the enhone cowling.

Then made a jarrah holder for the camloks for the top cowling. The camloks arounf the top of the firewall are different lengths (from 12 to 14mm) so having the holder will help keep them in the right position - the holder will also stop the camloks getting lost when not on the plane.

Then started the first real change to the plane design - making a 2" extension on the front of the dash to act as a glare shield. Doing this to get a glare shield - and because the standard unit looks so poor ................

The plan is to cut slots into the leading edge of the dash, slip 1/2' wide alloy plates through, glass the plates in place (from behind), bend (heat if necessary) offcuts of glass sheet around the top and bottom of the alloy plates, glass in place, then fill and sand - sounds simple .............
