Brief Description:  Centre console work, seat back brace and canopy dr

Started the day with 2 smaller projects. Laid another layer of glass on the centre console extension (and added some filler after the glassing had gone off). Then fitted the seat back brace. This is another Peter T idea - it stops the seat back from flexing when you lean on it to get in ond out. As the centre console abuts the seat back, flexing strains the joint.

Then pulled out the canopy again! The joint between the canopy itself and the canopy frame was pretty poor - the resin had extruded a little on both the inside and outside as the frame was attached to the canopy. No easy way to smooth the resin and tidy the joint - so I masked the canopy and spent most of the day very carefully and filing and sanding the joint smooth. The canopy frame itself still need sanding and more filling - so I sanded and filled .... Perhaps one more day on the canopy will have it ready for painting.
