Continuing the construction of the trim tab. Used the gladwrap technique - put a sheet of gladwrap down with a strip of glass on top; poured on resin and placed a second glass strip on top of the resin, then put a final sheet of gladwrap over the top of everything (gladwrap top and bottom - 2 sheets of glass with resin in the middle in the centre). Used a wooden roller to work the resin though the glass strips, then push out the excess resin. Peel of the top sheet of gladwrap and you have a well wetted sheet of glass with no extra resin - great technique! Then wetted the inside of the tab, folded and placed the glass sheet in the opening, then worked it into place with the old popstick.
