Brief Description: Attaching hinges to elevators - part 1
Positioned the elevators against the HS to transfer the position of the hinges. Took a lot a work to get the hinges in alignment to ensure fully free movement. Started riveting the hignes to the elevator but broke my favourite gun. Not easy to pull the 3/16 stainless rivets! Peter T has a heavier gun so will pack the elevators, hinges & rivets into the car and head off to airfield next weekend to complete the task. May redo the ones I have already done as Peter suggest bedding them in flock to reduce the chance of movement.
