Pushed the plane outside where I can get phone reception and called Horsham Aviation in Melbourne to talk me through setting up the fuel guage reading on the Dynon - eventually got fuel level readings for both tanks.
Rerouted more wires and regrouped the bundles - required because I am using different pins on the EMS for the fuel levels so had to pull all the bundles to pieces.
Gave up on the E-flap controller and have decided for now to use the "look out the window" flepo setting method ... Not as good as the intended flap preset system but I can't wait forever to get the plane airborne ...
Did my BFR last week so am legally current to fly again. Will get some type practice before flying the Lightning.
