Brief Description:  Filling and priming the oil system.

Tracked down the required Aeroshell 100 for the 25 hour run-in (then the oil changes to W100).
Removed the ram air ducts to get at the spark plugs then pulled 1 plug per cylinder. Hand spun the engine 40-50 times while slowly adding oil as it worked through and filled the system. Once the engine took no more oil, and the dipstick stayed stable with 3 1/2 litres onboard, I used the starter to high speed crank the engine to get full oil pressure. Cracked for 4 x 20 second sessions and maintained full oil pressure. No leaks!

Replaced the removed plugs and tensioned them back in properly. I'll replace the perished rubbers at the front of the ram air ducts before reinstalling them.

The prop did look pretty goot spinning at idel revs - it cranks fast with no compression.
