Brief Description:  Flap fitting and rigging.

Finished the winf reinstall - rewired the fuel tank and landing lights, tensioned up both spar bolts and marked them with nail polish to see any

Refitted the left flap - then nipped up all the mounting nuts and fitted split pins to them all.

The long job was fitting the flap push rods - very hard to get at under the outbourd seat support bracket. Fitted the flap end first and loktited the bolt in place - then motored the flap actuating level so I could reach the end of the push rod to attach it to the actuator.

Then drove the flap through its full travel, parked it close to the end of the motor travel, disconnected the push rod and adjusted the length so the flap matched the karmen on the fuselage - lots of adjusting and refitting. Once the right flap was set correctly, repeated the work on the left flap to get it to properly match - then tensioned up the bolts. I dod note though that the retaining nut on the push rod is a nyloc nut - and the joint pivots (moves on the bolt axis) when the flap is actuated. Will have to make sure those nuts are checked in the 25 hourly....
