Good productive day! Used some of Ed's Loctite 577 thread sealer to install the fuel tank strainers. Tapping out threads last week cleaned them enough to get the strainers in far enough for a safe fit. Cut the fuel hose and fitted it to the strainers and elbows in the wings.
Fitted the second aileron and all push tubes.
Worked with Sheryl and got the wings on props ready to be installed. Peter T dropped in and stayed to help with the install. Lots of wing pushing and twisting got the first spar bolt in. Then it took another hour or so of rocking, twisting, pushing and gentle hammering to get the second spar bolt started. Once the thread was through I put the nut on and used the nut to pull the spar bolt into place. All ready now to align the wings and tension up the spar bolts.
Great to see the plane with the wings back on .................
