Brief Description:  Fuel valve & cutting holes through firewall.

Ordered a good solid fuel valve from Aircraft Spruce - game without and fittings! Eventually forns some fittings at Swaglok - at $35 each! The threads are a taper fit. Silly idea when the final direction of the fitting is important and they lock up only in one position. All threads in the housing had been started (cut) in different positions so the fittings bedded at different angles.

Son-in-law Rodney recut the threads on the fittings so they pulled up at the rifht angles - took him a long time but well worth it!

Worked out the best location to pass through the sensor cables - so marked the positions on the firewall and set about cutting the two 22mm holes. As usual, took well over an hour per hole to cut and trim through the stainless steel.
