Brief Description: Making up the planel cover plate/sheet.
As for the throttle & fuel console - gave up looking for nice plastic sheet and made the cover sheet out of 1mm alloy. Will now paint before fitting.
All reasonable easy except for the radio & transponder holes. All other cutouts are hidden but the face plates of the instruments - but these two the instrument protrude through a clearance hole so the hole has to cut really accurately. I cut it 1mm undersize then very slowly filed it out while continually test fitting the radio & transponder. Got nice neat clearance holes eventually.
The switches and circuit breakers have smaller sub-panels - once the they are engraved and cut I'll lay them over the main panel & cut the holes right through.
Used the 1.6mm panel as a template and cut the cover plate from 1mm alloy.
