Brief Description:  Cutting and fitting scat tubing

Continued work on fitting the scat tubes in the engine bay. Have previously spent hours sanding the fibreglass fittings down to a size that the tubing will fit over. Advice said keep sanding so I did ..... Decided it would never fit so tried cutting out the wire in the section that fits over the flanges - fitted fine. The wire is to prevent collapsing when the tube has low pressure - not needed where the tube is supported by the flange. Carefully cut the wire back to the depth of the flange, then bent the wire inward slightly to take the pressure of the tubing.

Completed the air intake, airbox to carbi, muffler baffle to airbox, muffler baffle to cabin heat and the internal fresh air vents.
