Brief Description:  Replacing with large area washers

Thought about the nuts and bolts holding the elevator crank bracket - I had used ordinary washers. As the bolts and washers are pulling against fibreglass, large area washers would be better. So commenced a few hours of undoing and extracting the nuts and washers inside the elevators - working through the small access hole in the underside of the elevators. All washers now replaced with large area washers!

Adjusted the elevator torque tube - it can be safely adjusted with too much up elevator, and with too much down elevator - a good safe range. I will check the actual angles up and down on Peter T's plane then set this one up the same way for the test flight.
