Brief Description:  Making the optional oil pan fin cooler.

Sanded and filled the lower cowl intake ducts again.

Spoke with Peter T and decided that the mod to direct airflow over the oil sump cooling fins would be a good idea - given WA temps can be very high.

Made up a number of templates and models of the ducting. Very time consuming as the lower cowl has to be fitted and removed for get the duct into place and ckeck clearance inside the cowl. Once the final cardboard mock-up had been made and fitted, I cut the 1.5mm alloy sheet to match the part templates.

Did the first cut though the lower cowl to sight the alignment with the ducting. Won't finish the cowl cutout until the alloy ducting is finished and fitted in place - so the postioning is exactly right.

Cut 4 x SS machine bolts to length - and ran the die over them - they have to be short enough to clear the next fin in the sump.
