Brief Description: Glare Shield - bending glass sheet, or not .......
More general work on the glare shield. Cut some strips of 3mm thick glass (offcuts from the sides of the seats). Then tried the hairdrier to cook and soften them to bend them - that didn't work. So then tried the oven at 80C, then lifted it in 10C stages through to 270C (hottest the oven would go) and the sheet still wasn't soft or flexible. Ditch that idea!
