Brief Description: Fitting main gear leg fairings.
The fairings have no fixings to stop hem rotating - other than the jamb fit inside the wheel pants. But if you leave clearance aound the fairing at the fairing to pant joint, the fairings are free to move. A quick call to Peter T to see what he did. he also wanted to fix the fairings - so he extended the hinge pins up through the fuselage bottom - in fact the his pins go down through the fuselage and then into the hinge in the fairing. Makes it easy to pull the pins straight, and the pins locate the fairings so they can't rotate.
A very fiddly and time consuming job because it is all trial and error cutting. Got both fairings in place and both wheel pants roughly trimmed to clear the fairings. I will make the cuts for brake lines after I have installed the lines.
