Brief Description: Fitting cowl nutplates - general filling and sandi
Fitted the nutplates for ther lower cowl while Robert was available - much easier with him inside holding the plates while I rivited them in place from the outside. Had to recess the rivets as the fibreglass was too thick around the firewall. Then had to make up a small tube to slide over the rivets so I could pull them in the recess. Started filling and finishing the cowls now thay are properly fitted.
Glassed the inside of the nose gear pant where we had sanded through the joggle area trying to get a good fit. Good to go now.
