Brief Description: Fitting the tail tie-down eyebolt - and filling ..
With the fuselage flipped over the tie-down eye bolt can be fitted. I formed the backing plate from 3mm alloy - then shortened the bolt to suit - then flocked the back of the backing plate so it bedded nicely inside the fuselage. Ratana helped with the fitting and aligning of the bolt.
The bottom joint all the way down the fuselage was filled and sanded before - but while upsidedown I will refill and resand to get it more true and smooth - just in case someone sits on the ground and sights under the aircraft sometime ...........
