Brief Description: Lowering the spar box rear braces.
More filling and sanding - all control surfaces finished except the LH elevator - hope to have that done over the next 2 days work.
Having trouble setting up the centre console & seats - the seats hit the spar box braces before they fit into the centre console support rails. Not sure what is happening, but after a quick call to Dennis B, I am lowering the braces down tight against the floor. This involves removing the braces and the inboard flap brackets, grinding down the inner curve of the fuselage bottom joint, and then refitting the braces. The total drop will probably be only about 1/4" - but i'ts worth a try.
Redrilling the brace holes 1/4' away from where they were means filling the existing holes first. That is now done so the next step is to redrill and remount thae braces - and see if the problem with the seat pans is reduced...........
