The practical test lasted all day and included tasks from filling our paperwork to performing various maintenance functions.
We used training aids and aircraft located in almost every class room and in the hangar part of the building. At the end of the day, I received my temporary AMT Airframe Certificate 1512767, the same number as my original pilot certificate.
Now I can say that my RV-8 was built by a licensed airframe mechanic.
