Day 2 for our team organizing the shop and the new parts from Van's.
During the build, we have lots of people involved and parts and tools tend to end up Missing in Action for brief periods. With Plane #3, we've decided to invest more in organizing.
We now have closeable plastic containers for little pieces like rivets and screws. We have boxes and box lids to organize sub-assemblies.
We've also designed areas in the hangar for the new parts inventory and another area for the completed parts storage.
Having 20+ people involved in buiding an airplane is great fun but it presents a few organizational challenges.
