Brief Description: Tweaking Wing Jigs to Allow Wing Skinning
Modified wing stand to allow skinning wing at the outboard ends. Drilled two holes in the end to allow #10 Cap Screws to fasten outboard ribs to the ends of the 3” x 4” x 3/8” plates. Contoured the two plates at the inboard ends so that the flanged part of the spar is at the same level as the outboard ends of the spar.
It took some time to figure out how I could mount the forward spar in the wing jigs and still allow the skin installation.
