Static Dischargers and hardware arrived this morning. I was pleased to note that the trailing wire is flexible and that the unit comes with both rivnuts and ½” 4-40 mounting screws .
Fabricated nine (9) MV-001 back plates out of 0.025 aluminum sheet.
Will make a drawing of this piece, but it is 1” x 2” with two #30 holes centered 1” apart. Holes will be drilled to 5/16 for rivnut installation.
I will install the rivnuts as needed for each surface, and will mount the Static Discharges when I am ready to fly the airplane.
