Brief Description: Prepare parts for Primer/Sealer
Finished straightening Rudder Stiffeners.
Stewart Systems EkoClean and EkoEtch LH Horizontal Stab, Rudder and Rudder Stiffeners in preparation for priming/sealing.
Requires EkoClean spayed on to the inside of the rudder, washing off with water. Then blow off water with compressed air. Repeat with EkoEtch. with wet material on the surface between 1 and 3 minutes.
I’m using a Sears spray paint gun with water to clean and dry the parts. I’ve had this gun for decades…finally getting to use it. When the trigger is pulled, the gun shoots compressed air. Pull the trigger more and the gun shoots water.
