I am very busy these days with the new job, flight instructing part-time and a university class. I can't devote a lot of time on the RV-8 anymore :-(
Tonight, I could afford some time in the shop. I decided to make something very simple. I wanted to build another temporary wood floor to fit inside the fuselage canoe. This floor board is meant to fit between frame 9 and 10. It is not required per Van's instruction. I decided to make this one after reading another builder's log. He made a good point by stating this board could be used to lay tools on it. It could also protect the bottom skin against accidental bucking bar drops while riveting this thight area.
