This Sunday afternoon, my objective was to finalize bending all the 3/8" dia fuel line. The last one I had to fabricate was the fuel line between the boost pump and the fitting on the firewall. Since the pump outlet is not in line with the bulkead fitting, and it is so close together, I made severals attemps to either 90 deg or Z bend 3/8" tube to fit in between, with no success. I finally use a "crooked" S shape tube, with double 180 deg bends, to make sure it lines up between the fitting and the pump outlet to engine. Hopefuly, that will not create any fuel restriction the the engine.
Once that was done, I flared all the other fuel line tube, and temporarilly installed them in place, The only one I did not finalise the flare is the tube between the fuel filter outlet and the boost pump inlet. I want to be able to remove it for painting the inside of fuselage.
