That was another day working on the seat rib, getting close to complete initial pre-fit assembly for this sub-unit. This day I did:
- Dimple for holes dia #40 in seat rib structure parts common with skin panel F826-1 and F827-1
Then I started implementing the MOD to incorporate removable seat floor panel F830-1 and F831-1 to the mid-fuse for in-service inspection, if ever needed. The design principle behind this modification is to replace the LP-4-3 blind rivets attaching floor panels to structure with screws and nutplate. Thus every rivet hole dia #30 must be enlarged to dia #19, then nutplate attachment rivet holes dia #40 must be drilled in structure parts. Hence, during this work session I did:
- Open all Dia #30 holes in seat rib structure to dia #19 in prevision of installation of a nut plate - Deburred all the dia #19 holes previously drilled - In seat rib angle F815C-L-1, using the nutplate jig, I drilled all the attachment rivet holes dia #40
I worked from 16h00 until 18h00, then from 20h00 until 21h00 no pics
