Brief Description: Fuselage - Fuel Line Fabrication
This was a rainy Sartuday. I first started my day with a Family Breakfast for my Dad's 74th anniversary, hence I started in the shop a little later than I planned.
Contunuing on what I had achieve on Friday afternoon and evening, I began by mesuring and bending the very long tube for the RH fuel tank to fuel selector valve. It took me at least two hours to do this, if not more. To my big surprise and happiness, I was able to fabricate this tube in one try ! Pretty happy of my result :-)
Next one to do was the LH tank to fuel valve. The one I had made on Friday did not work, but I could actually use it as a template for make a new one.
Same scenario with the fuel line between the fuel selector valve and the fuel filter inlet fitting. I made several attemps. On the last try, I was sure I bended this one wrong only to realize it was perfect at the first try !
In the evening, I did the fuel line between the fuel filter outlet and the fuel boost pump inlet, going throught the LH MLG tower.
It was a long and rewarding day, despite batteling against a cold and more than likely early spring allergies.
