Brief Description:  Fuselage - MOD - Rear Throttle rod cut-out

After many days being busy with work, flight instructing and University course, I have finally a week-end I can dedicate to working on the RV8.

My main task for the day was to try to complete the Rear Seat Throttle modification. Last major step for this modification is to ensure the rod between the Front and Rear Throttle quadrant does not foul with frame structure. When I started today, the rod was rubbing with the hole previously made in both frame F805 and F804. I decided to open a larger hole in frame F805, not worying about scraping the part since I have another one in stock.

Later during the evening, I decided to enlarge the opening in frame F804C-L. I have been a little too generous in enlarging this opening. Now, I consider that this frame is scrapped. Not only will I need a replacement part, but it will require extentive rework on the Center Section to replace this part.
