Brief Description: Fuselage - MOD - Bulkhead F866B - Avionic Access H
This Saturday, I completed the mod for the Bulkhead F866B Avionic Access Hatch. I did:
- Localise holes for nut plates on doubler, then drilled them dia #40 to start - Match drill those 12 holes in the hatch door panel, and cleco the hatch door in place - Enlarge holes in door to dia #21, and to #19 in doubler - Using nut plate jig, drill all nutplate dia # 40 holes for the qty 12 attachment screws - In the evening, I countersunk all dia #40 holes for dimples or for 3/32 nutplate rivets - I dimple the hatch door panel, hatch door stiffening angles and holes made in Bulkhead F866B.
I need to deburr edges on F866B panel, and this mod will be completed.
