Brief Description: Fuselage - More skin drilling & resolving fit prob
After working with Dad in the afternoon, I came back in the evening to continue working the fuselage drilling process. First task was to complete drilling the bottom skin at frame 8 and frame 9 where I had some misalignment.
Once frame drilling was completed, I then moved on my interest to the aft tailcone area. In this area, I have misalignment issues between the aft side skins F-824-1 and the bottom skin F-828. I noted some fouling between a few parts and the longerons F-887. After trying to get everthing all lined up, I resolved myself to dissassemble everything and try to resolve the fouling conditions first. Once that is done, more than likely, my longerons F-887 will fall into place easier and the side skins will be less stressed to fit into place.
