Today was a great and very productive day working on the RV-8 ! I've asked Yves Millette to come and help me with riveting a few hard to reach rivets for the L/G box. Upon Yves arrival at 10h15 AM , I showed him drawings to explain what was my objective for the day, then my goal to achieve for this week. Well, with Yves assistance, by lunch time, we had achieved my objective for the day, and upon his departure, we have surpassed my goal for the week ! With Yves' help, we achieved today:
- Finalized riveting WD822 L/G box weldment
- Finalize all L/G boxes installation steps on FWD Floor, including upper fwd & aft cross braces, mid cabin braces L/ & RH install
- Installed firewall assembly and fwd baggage bay floors
