Brief Description:  Fuselage - Elevator quadrant and pushrods

Today, I worked on parts sub assemblies that I will not need before a while. I had planned a while ago to work on the Elevator Quadrant Sub Assy and Pushrods because I'd like to get those parts primed and painted white at same time as other white parts in the fuselage. Therefore today I did:

- The Quadrant F635 parts had been separated a while ago (in fact those where the first parts I worked on when I got the kit), and were already deburred, I only needed to match drill the parts together, then deburr the holes.
- On the F841 pushrod, I fitted the VA101 threaded ends, then marked per instruction the 8 holes to be drilled. I made sure to have sufficient edge distance on the aluminum tube. Once I removed the threaded ends after drilling, I realized I didn't push these deep enough inside the tube, and for most holes, I have a low E/D condition with some holes at 0.150 from edge. Considering this is a flight control part, I feel this is too marginal, and I will replace those VA101 threaded ends with new ones. Also per instruction, I cleaned the inside of the tube with naphta on a towel pulled with a string.
- Similarly, I matched the threaded ends with the F-840 tube, and drilled 6 holes per the instruction. This time, all E/D turned ok !

Note: both tubes have been accurately cut to lenght by Michel Parent at MKP Shop.

Today, I worked from 16h00 until 18h00, then from 20h00 until 22h00.
