Brief Description:  Fuselage - Tailcone bulkheads F810 & F811

Today, I decided not to spend too much time in the shop working on the airplane itself. Considering the "production rate" I am working on this aircraft, I am running occasionnaly on some "road blocks" in my organization. These "production stops" are sometime the result of not having the right tools, or not ordering replacement parts or materials to get the project going. For such reason, I started today by making an order at Van's for replacement parts. Yesterday, I sent an e-mail to a lot of contact to share link to my Kitlog page. I had some feedback today, and took time to respond. Surprizingly, I received an e-mail from a gentleman who owns a machine shop, and he offered his services. That comes at the right time !

I finally went to the shop in the evening for a little more than one hour of work. Tonight, I focused my attention to the Tailcone bulkheads. Per instruction pages 8-22 and 8-23, I did:

- Clecoed and matched drill bulkhead F810B-1 with angle F810C-1, then deburred the hole
- Fluted the flanges on F810B-1
- Clecoed Bulkhead F811A, F811E, Stab attachment bars and angle F811C-1 angle
- After doing this, I noted that I had deburred too agressively one side of the cut out in parts F811A and F811E when I cut and deburred these parts last Summer. I still have enough edge distance with the rivet hole and the cutout/stab attachment bar edge. The problem to my point of view is more esthetical. Considering this part will support stab stress, I decided that the 1/16" more material to the edge is worth ordering new parts.
- Despite replacing F811A and F811E soon, I took the opportunity to match drill Stab attachment bars with the press drill. I don't believe the new parts will be that different from the current ones, thus drilling the stab bars made sense at this time. They turned out perfect.

On this evening, I worked from 20h30 until 22h15.
