Following on my idea to have floor panel F830 and F831 removable in service for a potential inspection, I continued on that day with the implementation of nut plates holes to required parts. I modified the following parts on that day:
a) Drilled dia #40 holes for nutplate 3/32 rivets on: - F815C-R-1 - F813-R-1 - F813-L-1 - F806B-1
Notes: I did not drill in F814C-R-1 and F814C-L-1 at this time because I had re-ordered these parts from Van's and were expecting them to be delivered at any time.
B) Dimpled the dia #40 holes for nutplate attachment rivet on seat rib structure parts: - F815C-R-1 - F815C-L-1 - F806B-1 - F813-R-1 - F813-L-1
Note: While dimpling F813-R-1, I inadventantly press the foot control while the dimple die was not in the hole. Squeezer was strong enough to puncture the part flange. Althought this is repairable, it was decided that part F813-R-1 will be replaced with a new one prior to final assembly
I worked from 15h45 until 18h00, then from 20h15 until 21h45
Added nutplate hole puncture with squeeer while dimpling
