Welding on the control stick assembly. Installed the bushing at the heart of it all. Welded on an extra reinforcing piece of 4130 at that pivot point, just for reassurance because the support structure seemed a bit thin. my horizontal member in this assembly is exactly according to plan. the vertical member has one modification. I included a joint just above the pivot, at a point I expect to be about level with the floor. This is to allow removal of the control stick for times when I need to work on pedals, brakes or instruments and give me a little more room to see what I'm doing. At this point, the center pivot is done. still need to add the aileron control attachment plates and the elevator control belcranks.
