Brief Description: continued test fitting and refinement of seat ribs
Turns out I was wildly over-optimistic yesterday when I thought I might be in position to rivet the center section seat pan today. many tiny refinements to the ribs took up the whole day. The seam between the seat pan and the control system access panel is supported by a 3/4"x 3/4" x 1/16" aluminum angle which I had overlooked at first. After seeing that this angle is drilled and tapped for screws, I decided 1/16" aluminum is less than I'm comfortable with on screws that may go in and out multiple times. I decided to back up the working leg of that angle with a 1/8" x 3/4" aluminum bar, so the screws will have 3/16" to thread into.
