I went to Sun-N-Fun to camp this week. I had been waiting for this event to order my engine and prop. I had expected Van's to have their usual SNF discount on the engine package with the usual $1000 package discount and then an additional $1500 show discount. Well it did not happen this year so I had the option to buy what I wanted and not what was less expensive. I had been talking to ECI about a I0-320 with dual PMags and Silver Hawk FI and I really wanted the three blade Catto prop and not the metal Sensenich. I was going to be sensible and save the money but since Van's let me down i went full bore. ECI ordered to be delivered in 6 weeks and the Catto ordered but waiting for the nickel leading edges. Catto is shipping the Saber prop extension and spinner now so i can get the engine mounted and cowl properly fit. I have my color choices on the prop but have not made my choice yet. Cool. Build on!
