Brief Description:  Flaps

Tonight I worked on the Left flap. Clecoed the ribs to the spare and match drilled. Clecoed the bottom skin to the spar and ribs and match drilled. Turned over and clecoed the top skin. The instructions say to cleco the forward skins before drilling the trailing edge in assembly. This causes the flap to twist up. I don't see a reason to twist it up before doing the trailing edge so I did it first and then added the leading edge skins. I needed help with the leading edges as these are tough to get wrapped around the nose ribs. Luckily I had my future son-in-law Alan (the soup man) Campbell here to help. Match drilled everything, moved clecos over one hole and then drilled the rest. The end linkage bracket got drilled in assembly. It is ready for disassembly for deburr and primer but I will do the Right wing first.
