Brief Description:  R. Elevator trailing edge and start L. Elevator

Returned from vacation and started back on the R. Elevator. When I checked the mail I found the wing order confirmation from Van's. They will shipping the week of 11/28. When I left I had glued the trailing edge. Removed from work bench and cleaned up the Proseal. Attached metal angle to edge of workbench and back riveted the trailing edge. Came out very nice and straight. Cleaned up all edges and then installed eyebolts used as hinges.
Sterted assembly of L. elevator and clecoed everything together. Build gusset, final drilled and then disassembled. Started deburr, dimple process. I didn't like the way the R. elevator turned out when dimpling the skin. It is difficult to hold the skin open to dimple and keep the dimple perpendiclular with the skin. I decided to use Smitty's idea of using the pop rivet dimple dies at least on the spars rivets. I decide there must be something better so I found a way to get the skin under the table. This worked very well as it was not stretching the skin apart. Skins and stiffeners will be primed tomorrow. For back riveting the stiffeners I will need to come up with a better jig.
