Brief Description:  Started empennage

Couldn't sleep so I started in the shop @ 5:30. Couldn't make noise so I couldn'd finish the practice kit. Went ahead and started the emp. Layed out the spars with doublers.Finished the day with the skeleton put together but forgot to take pictures. I have taken it all back apart to deburr and countersink. I cut out the wood for the jig and have already sanded edges and lightning holes on the ribs. Tomorrow will be a lot of scotchbrite on the spars then reassemble to match drill the skins. After riding to breakfast this morning I made the 908 angle brackets out of the supplied aluminum angle. I goofed and cut one wrong. Almost enough scap to make another but not quite. I will look around town to see if anyone carries aircraft aluminum. I hate to order such a small piece and pay freight.
