Brief Description:  Wing paint

Showed up at the paint shop @ 8 and moved the wings into the paint booth onto the saw horses. Masked and cleaned. Shot one coat of epoxy primer. Good coverage with one coat so to keep the weight down I left it at one coat. Wiped with a tack cloth and sprayed three coats of white base. Took a short lunch break and shot with three coats of clear. I haven't seen them dry yet but I am very happy with the results. I will go by the paint shop Monday and pull them out of the booth and put them in the craddle. Tuesday I will move them to storage. Seeing them in daylight will show me if they are good or if I will need to buff and po;ish them later. I figure at worst case I will polish them once they are on the plane. I am very happy that I rented a paint booth as it seemed to keep the trash in the paint way down. Also kept the garage at home much cleaner.
