Brief Description: Finished F904 bulkhead and moved on to F905
This morning I started by riveting the F982 and F983 ribs to the front of the spar. Fabricated the 3/8" spacers and cut some wood for temporary spacers. Inserted all the grommets and bolted the stuff together. Moved it to the spare bedroom for storage Moved on to the F905 bulkhead. The insructions have you move from the firewall back, After I finish this bulkhead the rest get simple and quick. Fabricated a bunch of small parts to assemble the rear spar. Match drilled it all. Then I started on the top portion that holds the seat back top. There were a few part to fabricate here and all parts were drilled in assembly rather than match drilled. This takes more time but i moved along well. Assembeled entire Bulkhead and match drilled. Pulled it back apart to deburr and prime. Since some of this will be painted and not just primed I washed it and scrubbed with a Scotchbrite pad and Dawn. Then cleaned with MEK and primed. I ran out of primer so I will need to wait until tomorrow to finish the prime and paint. I clecoed the rear spar together since I had enough primer for it and it will not get painted, just primed.
