Bought a 4x8 sheet of 3/4" particle board to build a new temporary flap table. It has to be 7' long and super flat. My table is super flat but only 5' long. Also to build the flaps you need to drill about 30 5/8" holes into the top of the table. This is why it will be temporary. Kinda useless with a bunch of holes in it. Got started building the table by cutting the edges off. I will use these edges as super straight re-inforcement of the edges. Regular 2x4's are never straight. I coumter sunk a rivet hole in the flap hinge bracket and then cleaned with MEK and primed.
