Brief Description:  Left tank sealing

Received tank sealer today. Started the tank assembly. First stage of assembly was to finish cleaning with MEK solution along with soaking the rivets to clean. This tank sealer is nasty stuff, thick and sticky. It is one of the most dreaded parts of the build for most people. I have done enough reading and looking at other build sites that I got a little cocky. Right off the bat I had a mess. The mixing cup I used was thin and cold and cracked as soon as I started mixing. Then I had to get it stuffed into a large sirynge. Once I got that mess cleaned up it went very well. Managed to get the six stiffeners back riveted in along with the drain fitting and fuel cap housing before the sealer started to set up. That it enough for on night. I will start on installing ribs tomorrow night.
