Cable Order
I thought I would get this organised today, the great people at Aircraft Radio at archerfield helped me out with my order, I ordered a little more than what I needed, but in my defence, I ordered a variety of colors to help me color code the panel when it comes time to hook things up
I am also installing some lights on the unit, being a landing light, a tail light and two wing lights, so I thought it would be wise to get the cable that I want to install now for these devices as the build process's I'm going to need it to pull in with other cables, so better to get it now, rather than getting to friday afternoon and going, Oh Bugger I need 30m of XXX this weekend, otherwise I cant do this or that.. and then having to settle for something that I find at Jaycar (not that I have anything against jaycar or people who purchase equipment from jaycar, I purchase regulary, you cant get airplane bits from them though! Just saying..)
A variety of cable was ordered, mostly just the minimum needed 33ft Spools, but it all add's up, the biggest cost of the day was the 4 Core Shielded cable for the strobes and the headset connections, Mein Gott!, my day job keeps me around cables and cabling most of the time, and the cost of it doesnt shock me, but this stuff did! It wont be wasted!
Aircraft Radio can be found at Aircraft Radio Homepage, email is fine, make a call, Something that I've got to do more of, making phone calls, rather than thinking that emails will do, a lot of people are still very old fashioned in this hobby/industry, and a call makes things move more quickly, rather than an email!

Scott called me from Aircraft Radio last week (!! Oh well Wish I knew!) and talked to me about this new PLB, lightweight and has some cool options.
I did some reasearch, and got one today, why get one now, when my aircraft is months away from being ready, if not longer? Well I fly pretty regulary, and while its not needed to have a PLB when d
