Brief Description: Continue to rivet the skins on the HS and cut out
The elevator cutout, not called out in the instruction set, but clearly noted on the drawings, had to be cutout while the spar was in place. Not to difficult, but I had to be careful not to nick the spar or reinforcing pieces.
To ensure a good tight fit I clamped each side of the rivet before setting it. It slowed the process down a lot, but it was worth it as each rivet was installed tightly and correctly. I love the pneumatic rivet squeezer. It was worth the $600. As Ron Popiel would say, 'set it and forget it.'
