The vertical stab was completed today after 10 hours of fun work. It was easy compared to the horizontal stab.
Items of interest: 1 - be sure the work is held together tightly when riveting, being sure to always draw up the parts before hitting the rivet hard, 2 - the dimples made on the C-frame are crap. Sometimes there are 2 alike, sometimes not. It's hard to get a smooth surface without the repatability. 3 - in tight places some of the rivets are hard to hit straight without damaging other parts. I'm so anal about this, the rivets are good, not perfect. I'll have to learn to live with it. 4 - if I don't change my standards, I'll never finish, or it will take 15 years. It's not perfect - I'll get over it.
