Brief Description: Attaching Forward Spar to Horizontal Stab
Set the forward spar in the horizontal stabilizer structure. Used blind rivets to secure the forward piece of the HS-708 rib to the nose rib. Also riveted the tip ribs to the end of the forward spar. The Mar-Hyde spray primer is not as tough as I thought it would be. It still scratches pretty easily as do most of the spray can primers. I think that I will switch to sharpies method of alodining and then using the 2 part epoxy AKZO to provide a tough as nails protective coat. I also have some of the Stewart Systems primer that I might give a try first.
I'll get back in and touch up the small scratches with a Q-Tip swab coated with primer to seal up the bare metal. Next job will be to rivet the ribs and forward spar.
