Brief Description: HS-702 marking bend lines and trim area
Laying out bend line on HS-702 forward Horiz Stab. Marked min distance to rivet holes. Studied plans. The trim diagram HS-702 relief notch diagram gave me some grief. The drawing does not look like my part. It only shows 4 holes, I have 10 total (5 above, 5 below). I assumed that this was an overly simplified drawing but decided to call email Van's to ensure that I had the correct part. Yup, everything is fine, it is overly simplified.
The key is to get the bend line properly marked and sketch out the notch relief. After marking the bend line I marked a safety zone around the closest rivet holes at 2D the rivet size. From there it was easy to sketch out the trim area.
